How to Calculate How Much Beading Is Required

How do I calculate how much beading I need?

 

To calculate how much stop / staff bead you need:

• Measure the perimeter of the window frame i.e. height x 2 and width x 2 of window. 
• Add together then add at least 100mm on to each measurement to allow for a mitre cut.

 

To calculate how much parting bead you need:

• Measure vertically from the sill to the head of the frame 
• Multiply by two (as you will need this on both sides of the window)
